One of my favorite things
to do is to cook. I remember as a child my Grammy
would set me up at the kitchen table so I could watch her make her
pastries or pierogies.
But as I got older there was less watching and more helping...and she
always
did find the time to make
me a "nice ham sandwich".
I have posted a few of my favorite recipes here.

Lamb Steak
This is one steak that you can serve with any side
dish and its quick and easy. This is great for a work night when
you need a quick meal.
What you need:
• Lamb Steak (Organic, .5lb per person)
• Olive Oil
• Butter
• Fresh Rosemary (chopped fine)
• Fresh Thyme (chopped fine)
• Garlic (chopped fine)
• Salt & Pepper to season

|
Method:
-
Sprinkle salt, pepper, chopped rosemary, thyme
and garlic on both sides of the lamb steak.
-
Add 1 knob of butter and a splash of olive oil to
a heavy bottomed fry pan.
-
Heat pan on medium high (350 degrees) to melt
butter.
-
Carefully lay the lamb steak into the pan and let
cook untouched for 3 minutes.
-
After 3 minutes flip the steak over and let cook
another 3 to 4 minutes.
-
Once you have a nice brown coloring or crust on
both sides of your steak take it off the heat and place the steak on
a cutting board to rest for at least 4 minutes.
